Court resurfacing is the process of re-applying the coating system, to restore the look of the court. This process includes surface cleaning, crack repair, and flood testing to determine if there are any low spots (aka bird baths) to reduce puddles and the application of base and color coatings and striping the game lines. The coating system also helps to seal and protect the asphalt or concrete base and extend the life of the court.

Look at the surface after a rain. Puddles that linger in low spots, cracks opening across the play area and color that has faded or worn through to the asphalt or concrete are the clear signs. Cracks come from weather and normal wear, and they widen if left alone. Resurfacing at that stage seals the base and extends the life of the court instead of letting damage spread.
Yes. Pickleball conversions are a core part of what we do. We can stripe pickleball lines onto a tennis court as a multi-sport layout, or convert the court fully to pickleball. If the surface is tired, we handle the conversion as part of a resurfacing so the new lines go onto fresh color coats. The same approach works for basketball and other multi-sport layouts.
In most cases, yes. Cracks and worn patches do not mean the court is finished. We patch and sand the damaged areas, fill the cracks and level the low spots that hold water, then new base and color coats seal the asphalt or concrete before we stripe the game lines. If the base itself has failed, we tell you, and we can build new instead of coating over a problem.
