Meet the people behind My Backyard Sports, a family run sport court design and construction company. Founder Michael Kraner started the company with Debbi Kraner. Cheryl and Lee Ruff represent MBS Austin, Ralph Serzo represents MBS Long Island, and Kaylan and Jeff Lennick represent MBS Houston. All of us share a love of teaching, training and coaching.

Across all of our teams, our service area covers New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Long Island, Austin and Houston.
Our own crews do the base work, surfacing, hoops and line painting, and My Backyard Sports is fully licensed and insured. That covers the custom backyard and commercial courts we design and build for basketball, pickleball, tennis, padel and multi-sport play, as well as hockey rinks, sport tiles, sport turf, putting greens, bocce and shuffleboard courts, volleyball courts and batting cages. We also handle court resurfacing, painting, hoop installation and maintenance.
